Concerned by the proliferation of neon-colored confectionery, uncertified snacks, and expired flavored drinks sold directly outside elementary school gates, Manus Hitkari Foundation has submitted a formal petition to the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights.
Petitioner Demands Include:
- Enforcement of a strict 100-meter buffer zone around academic institutions banning unregistered food vending.
- Mandatory hygiene inspection ratings displayed on all school cafeterias and bordering retail stalls.
- Integration of nutritional literacy modules into standard high-school curricula.
Unchecked consumption of cheap artificial sweeteners and unregistered food coloring has been directly correlated with childhood allergic disorders, attention deficits, and early-onset metabolic syndrome.
